But, even though I just mini-ranted, I am pretty much a fan of Beyonce.

rawkblog:

Beyonce might actually be underrated.

I think this is actually pretty terrible. The song is not good. More importantly, she has effaced herself by turning into a tragic combo of Lady Gaga and Shakira—in both appearance and video concept. The costuming and setting and floor-crawling and deadish nest-y blonde hair. I do, however, think most of the choreography is pretty great. All but a few moves are powerful without being abrasive, sultry without being oversexed, and compelling (just compelling, no parallel structure here!).

“1) Respect “the genius of a place.” Olmsted wanted his designs to stay true to the character of their natural surroundings. He referred to “the genius of a place,” a belief that every site has ecologically and spiritually unique qualities. The goal was to “access this genius” and let it infuse all design decisions.” —

The disgraceful interrogation of L.A. school librarians → latimes.com

This describes something, indeed, disgraceful.

It also includes some quotations with great grammar! “None of the lawyers was talking about that.” See that “was?” It brings joy to my heart.
